Dutchess County Executive Sue Serino, New York State Senator Michelle Hinchey, and the Hyde Park Central School District are joining forces to host a skilled trades fair. The event aims to introduce students and young adults to various career paths in the Hudson Valley area.

Scheduled for Wednesday, October 30, 2024, from 6 PM to 8 PM at Franklin D. Roosevelt High School in Staatsburg, NY, this event is open to the public and does not require an RSVP. "In an ongoing effort to engage students with the trades," said organizers, representatives from different trades will be present for attendees to ask questions and explore future opportunities.

Local trade organizations and businesses interested in participating can register online or contact the Dutchess County Executive’s Office by phone or email. Space is limited and will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.

This free event provides businesses with a chance to network with local students and young adults who may consider pursuing careers in their respective trades. For further inquiries about participation or attendance, individuals can contact the Dutchess County Executive’s Office.
