We congratulate Jody Miller, Executive Director of the Dutchess County Commission on Human Rights, who has been honored as 2022 Woman of the Year by the American Association of University Women (AAUW). Each year, AAUW’s Poughkeepsie Branch selects a woman who promotes its mission of gender equity for women and girls through research, education, and advocacy.
Jody Miller was chosen for this award due to her hard work and compassion over the past few years as she steered the community through many difficult discussion topics. She and other members of the commission work hard to make our County an inclusive place for all.
