The Dutchess County Department of Public Works (DPW) has announced the completion of a culvert replacement on Milan Hill Road (CR-54) between Willow Glen Road and Woody Row Road in the Town of Milan. The roadway has now reopened to traffic.

The project, which commenced in July, involved replacing the culvert, installing new inlet and outlet headwalls, widening the road to add three-foot shoulders, and adding new guiderails to enhance roadway safety. The project was completed on time and within budget.

This section of Milan Hill Road accommodates approximately 233 vehicles per day.
