Dover issued the following announcement on Oct. 29.
NOTICE TO RESIDENTS AND MOTORISTS ABOUT LIMITED SEASONAL USE OF BERKSHIRE ROAD BETWEEN 273 BERKSHIRE AND 487 BERKSHIRE (FROM NOV. 1, 2020 TO APRIL 1, 2021)
At the recommendation of the Town of Dover Highway Superintendent and adopted by resolution of the Town of Dover Town Board on October 28, 2020, please be advised:
Berkshire Road in the Town of Dover, between 273 Berkshire Road on the north end and 487 Berkshire Road on the south end, is hereby determined to be a Limited Seasonal Use Road and snow plowing services shall not be done by the Town of Dover and through-traffic will not be permitted until April 1. The north and south ends will be gated and closed until April 1, 2021.
