Congressman Mike Lawler, representing New York's 17th district, has shared several updates via social media. Lawler, who has been serving in Congress since 2023 after replacing Mondaire Jones, addressed various topics ranging from national holidays to community issues.

On February 17, 2025, Congressman Lawler commemorated Presidents' Day by expressing gratitude for the contributions of past U.S. Presidents. He stated: "Happy Presidents' Day! Today, we honor the legacy of all who have served as President and thank them for their contributions to our country."

Later that day, he highlighted his meeting with leaders from NHAEON to discuss the significance of the Haitian diaspora's voices being heard. On this occasion, he remarked: "It was an honor to meet with leaders from NHAEON to discuss the importance of the voices of the Haitian diaspora being heard. The Haitian community plays a vital role in the Hudson Valley, and I'll keep advocating for policies that support them."

On February 18, 2025, Lawler expressed his condolences regarding a tragic incident in Spring Valley involving two young women. He conveyed his sympathies by stating: "Absolutely tragic news out of Spring Valley. My heart goes out to the family and friends of the two young women whose lives were taken in this horrific act of violence."
