Mike Lawler, a Congressman from New York's 17th District since 2023, expressed his gratitude on Twitter for a meeting with the Fuld family, acknowledged Autism Awareness Day, and commented on legislative debates regarding the STABLE Act on April 2, 2025.

On April 2, 2025, Congressman Mike Lawler tweeted, "Thank you to the Fuld family for meeting with me today. Your strength in the fight for justice for Ari is truly inspiring. I’ll continue to stand with you in holding those responsible accountable."

Later that day, he highlighted the importance of supporting individuals with autism, stating, "Today, we recognize the resilience and contributions of individuals with autism and emphasize the importance of supporting them and their families."

In another post, Lawler criticized his colleagues' approach to the STABLE Act, addressing the obstacles posed by partisan politics. He tweeted, "After hours of nonsense debating Democrat amendments to the STABLE Act, it's apparent some of my colleagues are too blinded by political games to seek solutions that would strengthen the United States’ standing in the digital economy when it breaks party lines."
