On March 18, 2025, Congressman Mike Lawler tweeted about the decline in egg prices: "Great news for families across New York – egg prices have dropped nearly 50% since January! Jan 21: $6.55/dozen Mar 17: $3.45/dozen Lower costs at the grocery store mean more money in your pocket."
Later that day, he expressed his gratitude for participating in a community event: "I was honored to attend this weekend's St. Patrick’s Day Mass and March in Peekskill, celebrating faith, heritage, and community. It’s always special to join friends and neighbors in recognizing the contributions of Irish Americans here in the Hudson Valley and beyond."
In another tweet on the same day, Lawler criticized the Biden administration's foreign policy stance: "The Biden administration's approach to Iran's terror network was one of appeasement which has allowed billions of dollars in funding to go to these terror activities. The Houthis, Hezbollah, Hamas, and criminals like them must be met with strength."
