Congressman Mike Lawler, representing New York’s 17th district, has been vocal on various issues via his social media posts. In a recent tweet dated March 4, 2025, he announced his action against the Social Security Administration's decision to close the White Plains Office of Hearings Operations. He stated: "I sent a letter calling on the Social Security Administration to reverse its December 2024 decision to close the White Plains Office of Hearings Operations."

In another post on the same day, Lawler expressed concern over international military alliances. He commented on March 4, 2025: "It’s alarming that Russia and Iran deepened their military cooperation last year as Iran was escalating their conflict with Israel." He emphasized the need for steadfastness against global adversaries.

On a lighter note, Congressman Lawler shared his visit to Tom Emmer’s office where he saw Lord Stanley’s Cup. On March 4, 2025, he tweeted: "Great to stop by ⁦@GOPMajorityWhip⁩ Tom Emmer’s office to visit with Lord Stanley’s Cup." He expressed admiration for the ‘93-94 New York Rangers championship team.
