On April 10, 2025, Lawler took to social media to honor Allan Seebach Sr., a lifelong resident of Tappan and community leader. Lawler recognized Seebach's service in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War and his subsequent contributions to the Volunteer Fire Association of Tappan.
Mike Lawler has been serving in the U.S. Congress since 2023, following his tenure in the New York State Assembly. At 36 years old, Lawler was born in Suffern, New York, and holds a BS from Manhattan College, which he earned in 2009. He resides in Pearl River.
