On April 9, 2025, Lawler thanked Catholic Charities USA for inviting him to speak, acknowledging how their work positively impacts the Hudson Valley. As a Catholic himself, he expressed support for their contributions and the difference they make within the community.
Later that day, Lawler congratulated @HuckabeeOnTBN and expressed anticipation for future collaboration toward achieving peace in the Middle East.
On April 10, 2025, Lawler took to social media to honor Allan Seebach Sr., a lifelong resident of Tappan and community leader. Lawler recognized Seebach's service in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War and his subsequent contributions to the Volunteer Fire Association of Tappan.
Mike Lawler has been serving in the U.S. Congress since 2023, following his tenure in the New York State Assembly. At 36 years old, Lawler was born in Suffern, New York, and holds a BS from Manhattan College, which he earned in 2009. He resides in Pearl River.
