Congressman Mike Lawler, currently serving in the U.S. Congress representing New York’s 17th district, shared recent community engagements through social media. Lawler, who succeeded Mondaire Jones in 2023, has been involved in various local events aimed at fostering connections within the community.

On March 29, 2025, Lawler expressed his satisfaction at participating in the Westchester County Police Chiefs Association's Annual Installation of Officers. He wrote, "It was a privilege to join the Westchester County Police Chiefs Association for their Annual Installation of Officers. The next day, on March 30, Lawler acknowledged the contribution of his team attending the opening of a new education center. He shared, "Thanks for having my staff at the ribbon cutting for the new Mathnasium in New City! A great addition to our community, helping students unlock their potential in math and beyond. Wishing them all the best as they get started!"
