Assemblyman Matt Slater has successfully concluded his second annual diaper drive, in collaboration with the Putnam Community Action Partnership (CAP). The initiative aims to assist families facing financial difficulties in New York. This year's effort managed to support over 80 families by providing them with essential supplies.

Slater expressed his gratitude for the community's involvement, stating, “I’m proud to once again partner with Putnam CAP to help families facing challenges in providing essential items for their children. Thanks to the generosity of our community, this year’s diaper drive was another success.” He emphasized the importance of supporting families so they do not have to worry about basic necessities.

Marisa O’Leary, director of Putnam CAP, highlighted the significance of such contributions: “Every child deserves to start life with a healthy, clean and safe environment, and that begins with something as simple as a clean diaper. The donations we received from the diaper drive organized by Assemblyman Matt Slater and his team will greatly assist us in ensuring that all families have access to this basic need.”

The joint effort between Slater and Putnam CAP demonstrates a commitment to helping local families manage everyday challenges through community support.
