Congressman Mike Lawler, currently representing New York’s 17th district in the U.S. Congress, shared a series of tweets on February 14, 2025. These tweets ranged from personal greetings to expressing political concerns and announcements.

On February 14, Congressman Lawler tweeted his Valentine’s Day wishes to his family: "Wishing a happy Valentine’s Day to my three sweethearts — my wife Doina and our two beautiful little girls, Julianna and Elizabeth."

Later that day, he voiced his frustration regarding representation issues in Rockland County concerning the MTA Board's decisions: "This is absurd - Rockland County's voice has been ignored as the MTA Board has made critical decisions – like congestion pricing! Kathy Hochul's refusal to appoint our nominee from Rockland is a slap in the face to every resident of our county."

In another tweet on the same day, Congressman Lawler announced the resumption of White House tours following an administrative transition: "With a new administration in place, White House tours have officially resumed. I appreciate your patience during the transition!"
