Dutchess County Executive Sue Serino will host her annual Women’s Networking Event on Wednesday, July 17, 2024. The event is scheduled to begin at 5:30 PM at the Locust Grove Estate in Poughkeepsie, NY. Local women are invited to attend to hear from community leaders and enhance their professional and personal networks.

This year’s speakers will address the theme of "Vision Beyond Challenges" and share insights on resilience and perseverance. The event will feature CaraMia Bacchiochi, Executive Director of Hope on a Mission, Inc.; Samantha Brittain from the Green Teen Program at Cornell Cooperative Extension; and Malia K. Du Mont, Chief of Staff and Vice President at Bard College and an Army Reserve officer.

"We have all faced incredible challenges throughout our lives and this year’s event will feature speakers who refused to let those obstacles stand in their way and had the strength to continue looking forward," said Dutchess County Executive Sue Serino. "I am constantly reminded how important it is to have a network you can count on, and while this event offers the opportunity to hear unique stories, it is also a great way to create new connections with other women in the community. The stories shared at this annual event always inspire me and offer me a new perspective, and I am confident this year will be no different."

Serino first launched the Women’s Networking Event series in 2018 while serving as State Senator and has since hosted over one thousand women at these annual events.

The event is free and open to the public but requires an RSVP due to limited space. Individuals can RSVP by calling 845-486-2000 or emailing CountyExec@dutchessny.gov.

For more information about the event, please call 845-486-2000.
