Graduates earn 1,452 degrees, certificates from the Culinary Institute of America

About 78.7 percent of the 1,452 degrees and certificates handed out by the Culinary Institute of America in 2017-18 were to students in personal and culinary services programs, making them the most popular programs that year, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The agency's National Center for Education Statistics shows the private not-for-profit institution in Park conferred 1083 associate's degrees and 32 certificates in personal and culinary services programs.

But the single most popular program was for a associate's degree in culinary arts/chef training. Data shows the school gave out 760 associate's degrees in culinary arts/chef training, followed by 323 associate's degrees in baking and pastry arts/baker/pastry chef and 273 bachelor's degrees in restaurant/food services management.

The institute enrolled 2,990 students for 2017-18, including 2,956 in undergraduate programs and 34 in graduate programs.
