Congressman Mike Lawler, representing New York’s 17th district, shared updates on his recent activities through a series of tweets. Lawler, who succeeded Mondaire Jones in 2023 and has been serving since then, detailed events he attended and initiatives he participated in over the past few days.

On March 24, 2025, Lawler tweeted about a successful turnout at the Global Entry event held in collaboration with U.S. Customs and Border Protection in Yorktown. He stated that "We had an excellent turnout for the Global Entry event in partnership with U.S. Customs and Border Protection this weekend in Yorktown. My team was on-site to assist constituents, ensuring a smooth and helpful experience for all!"

The following day, March 25, 2025, Congressman Lawler expressed his enthusiasm after visiting Montefiore Nyack Hospital. He described the visit by saying "Had a great time at Montefiore Nyack Hospital’s breakfast and tour, highlighting their impressive Transformation Project. From the new Emergency Department to the renovated 4-Maze, it’s exciting to see how they’re advancing healthcare for Rockland County."

Later on March 25, Lawler noted his participation in a House Foreign Affairs Committee MENA Subcommittee hearing. He tweeted "It’s an honor to gavel in today’s @HouseForeignGOP MENA Subcommittee hearing on consolidating State Dept. administrative services." He encouraged followers to tune into the proceedings.
