The Dutchess County Department of Public Works (DPW) has announced the completion of a bridge replacement on Stanford Road in the Village of Millbrook and Town of Washington. The structure has been reopened to traffic.

Project work, which began in the spring, involved replacing the bridge located over the East Branch Wappinger Creek near Dineen Road with a new, wider bridge that includes four-foot shoulders. The project was completed on time and within budget.

This section of Stanford Road averages approximately 725 vehicles per day.
