Former John Jay Senior High School player and current New Paltz Hawks first baseman and third baseman, Nico Batkay, will compete in the NCAA D3 Baseball Championship Tournament.

They begin the tournament as a number three seed against the second seeded Eastern Connecticut State Warriors.

The first game is on Friday, May 17.
