Sophia Lyder, a former standout at Arlington High School and now a member of the Lees-McRae Bobcats, is set to take part in the NCAA Division II Basketball Tournament.
The team earned the No. 8 seed and is scheduled to face the top-seeded Lincoln Memorial Railsplitters in the opening round.
Tipoff for the first game is set for Friday, March 13 at 5 p.m. at B. Frank Tex Turner Arena.
