Senate Republicans have expressed support for the governor’s proposal on discovery, which is causing a delay in the New York State Budget process. Republican Senator Rob Rolison commented on the proposal, stating, “They are modest changes, at best.” Rolison further expressed concern about opposition to the proposal by others, noting, “What concerns me is there are folks that are saying no way. We can’t have this. It’s like, if that’s your stance, then what else are we going to be able to do to make this state safe?”
