Congressman Mike Lawler, who represents New York’s 17th district, has used social media to spotlight recent events and developments. Utilizing Twitter, he shared insights on local projects and community engagements.

On April 27, 2025, Congressman Lawler congratulated Stellantis North America for inaugurating a new Mopar Parts Distribution Center located in East Fishkill. Lawler expressed his recognition by saying, “Congratulations to Stellantis North America on the grand opening of the new Mopar Parts Distribution Center this week in East Fishkill.”

Later that day, Lawler posted about a luncheon honoring the Air Force and Navy, held by the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 5491 at the Four Brothers Restaurant in Mahopac. His message declared, “Team Lawler was happy to attend an Air Force and Navy luncheon at the Four Brothers Restaurant in Mahopac sponsored by the VFW 5491.”

On April 28, 2025, Lawler highlighted an event with community volunteers, emphasizing law enforcement support. He noted his team’s participation in the Clarkstown Auxiliary Police Dinner. As he put it, “This week, my team had a wonderful time at the Clarkstown Auxiliary Police Dinner. We are always proud to honor the men and women who volunteer their time to help keep our community safe!”

Mike Lawler, born in 1986 in Suffern, New York, is a member of the U.S. Congress since 2023 after replacing Mondaire Jones. With a background in the New York State Assembly, Lawler has been an active political figure in representing New York’s 17th District.
