Congressman Mike Lawler recently shared updates on his activities through a series of tweets. Representing New York’s 17th district since 2023, Lawler detailed visits and discussions focused on community welfare and public safety.

On April 26, 2025, Lawler wrote about visiting Feeding Westchester, a facility involved in distributing meals and providing nutritional education across Westchester communities. He praised their work, stating “They do such great work for Westchester communities – providing nutritious meals, nutritional education, and more.”

Later the same day, Lawler participated in a regional law enforcement round table at SUNY Westchester Community College. The discussion centered on public safety challenges and ways in which federal policies could enhance support for law enforcement professionals. Reflecting on this, he noted, “We discussed challenges with public safety as well as how federal policy can better serve our officers.”

In a subsequent tweet on that day, Lawler mentioned attending County Executive Ken Jenkins’ first State of the County Address in Westchester County. Sharing this update, he stated, “My team was happy to attend County Executive Ken Jenkins’ first the State of the County Address.”

Mike Lawler is serving in the U.S. Congress, having replaced former congressman Mondaire Jones, and has had prior experience in the New York State Assembly.
