Congressman Mike Lawler, representing New York’s 17th district since 2023, has been active on social media, updating his constituents and followers with various engagements and celebrations.

On May 2, 2025, Lawler acknowledged an important event for many around the globe, stating, “Today, Israelis around the world celebrate their Independence Day. Happy Yom Ha’atzmaut! “.

Mike Lawler has served as a U.S. Congress member since 2023, succeeding Mondaire Jones. Before his current role, Lawler served in the New York State Assembly from 2021 to 2022. Born in 1986 in Suffern, New York, Lawler holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Manhattan College, which he obtained in 2009, and resides in Pearl River.
