Congressman Mike Lawler, currently serving in the U.S. Congress representing New York’s 17th district, shared recent community engagements through social media. Lawler, who succeeded Mondaire Jones in 2023, has been involved in various local events aimed at fostering connections within the community.

On March 29, 2025, Lawler expressed his satisfaction at participating in the Westchester County Police Chiefs Association’s Annual Installation of Officers. He wrote, “It was a privilege to join the Westchester County Police Chiefs Association for their Annual Installation of Officers. Congratulations to Chief John Barbelet on becoming President, and thank you to Chief Erik Grutzner for his outstanding leadership as Past President. Proud to”

The next day, on March 30, Lawler acknowledged the contribution of his team attending the opening of a new education center. He shared, “Thanks for having my staff at the ribbon cutting for the new Mathnasium in New City! A great addition to our community, helping students unlock their potential in math and beyond. Wishing them all the best as they get started!”

Concluding the day, Lawler commented on his staff’s participation at a local business event. He noted, “My staff had a fantastic time at the Chamber of Commerce Gala this weekend. It’s always great to connect with local businesses and community leaders who are making a positive impact. Congratulations to all the honorees and thank you for a memorable evening!”
