On May 17, 2025, Congressman Lawler expressed his concern about the security situation in Haiti. He stated, “This week, I joined 14 of my colleagues in sending a letter to Secretary Rubio conveying our grave concerns over the deteriorating security situation in Haiti as missionaries, humanitarian aid workers, and countless innocent civilians face deadly threats from criminal gangs that”.
Later that day, Lawler took to Twitter again to honor military personnel. He tweeted at 17:55 UTC: “Today, we proudly salute the brave men and women of our military, both past and present, who serve with courage, dedication, and unwavering commitment. Thank you to all who wear the uniform with honor. We stand united in gratitude.”
In another post on May 17 at 19:53 UTC, Lawler highlighted his team’s participation in a local event supporting individuals with disabilities. He wrote: “Team Lawler attended the Bridges In My Shoes Celebration Gala. Bridges does amazing work advocating and providing services to those with disabilities and are committed to expanding possibilities and enhancing the quality of life for those who they serve.”
Born in Suffern, New York in 1986 and residing in Pearl River, Mike Lawler graduated from Manhattan College with a Bachelor of Science degree in 2009.
