Later in the day, Lawler addressed geopolitical concerns, showing support for holding Azerbaijan accountable. He stated, “I’m proud to stand with my colleagues in demanding that Azerbaijan be held accountable for their actions, and I’ll continue working to ensure U.S. taxpayer dollars aren’t used to support a regime that undermines peace and stability.”
