On Tuesday, April 22, former Mahopac High School standout Shannon Becker’s current college team, the Notre Dame Fighting Irish, won 8-4 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Central Michigan Chippewas.

The game took place at Melissa Cook Stadium. This was their first matchup against the Chippewas this season.

The Fighting Irish’s next game is scheduled for Wednesday, April 23 at 5 p.m. at Melissa Cook Stadium against Valparaiso Beacons.
