Liam Kennelly, a former Millbrook High School star, played a key role for the Tufts Jumbos as they secured a 74-60 victory over the Catholic Cardinals in the NCAA Division III Basketball Tournament on Saturday, March 7.
The contest, which tipped off at 6 p.m., was hosted at Cousens Gymnasium and marked the first tournament meeting between the Jumbos and Cardinals.
Tufts will advance to face their next opponent on Saturday, March 14, with tip-off scheduled for 4:20 p.m. at Silloway Gymnasium.
