The Cortland Red Dragons, featuring former John Jay Senior High School standout Gavyn Pacheco, defeated the Franklin & Marshall Diplomats 75-66 on Friday, March 6, in the NCAA Division III Basketball Tournament.
MacDonald Gymnasium hosted the 4 p.m. contest, marking the teams’ first meeting in this year’s tournament.
The Cortland Red Dragons are set to play their next game on Saturday, March 7, at 6:30 p.m., again at MacDonald Gymnasium.
